The Italian language and culture courses last four weeks (from June 18 to July 14, 2012) and will be divided into the following three areas:
1. Archaeology and Art in Rome
For the first two weeks, lectures are in common and include the following area: archaeology, history of art, italian language features, theatre, cinema and music. For the second half of the course, lectures, audiovisuals and debates will mainly focus on archaeology and art in Rome.
2. Contemporary Italian Language and Literature
For the first two weeks, lectures are in common and include the following area: archaeology, history of art, italian language features, theatre, cinema and music. For the second half of the course, lectures, audiovisuals and debates will mainly focus on Italian language and literature.
3. Film, Theatre and Music
For the first two weeks, lectures are in common and include the following area: archaeology, history of art, italian language features, theatre, cinema and music. For the second half of the course, lectures, audiovisuals and debates will mainly focus on film, theatre and music.
The main activities for each area will be:
language classes;
lectures;
audiovisuals;
debates;
guided tours.
