Lectures, audiovisuals and debates are open to students in all areas to a maximum of 100 students.

Topics in common for all the three areas (first two weeks):

  • Verdi and the political climate in Italy (Prof. A. Rostagno)

Topics for the “Archaeology and Art in Rome” area (third and fourth week):

  • The Palatine Hill (Prof. L. Anselmino)
  • The Imperial Forums(Prof. E. La Rocca)
  • Public Museums in the 18th century in Rome: Capitolino Museum  and Pio Clementino Museum (Prof. O. Rossi Pinelli)
  • Futurism, the history of an avant-garde (Prof. C. Zambianchi)

 

Topics for the “Contemporary Italian language and literature” area (third and fourth week):

  • The spoken italian (Prof. F. Albano Leoni)
  • Dante (Prof. R. Mercuri)
  • Calvino (Prof. M. Storini)
  • Romanzo Criminale (Prof. E. Mondello).

 

Topics for the “Film, Theatre and Music” area (third and fourth week):

  • Italian Melodramma  (Prof. E. Senici)
  • The Theatre Revolution in Rome during 1960-1970 (Prof. S. Carandini)
  • Emigration in the Italian movies (Prof. R. Grisolia)
  • Dario Fo’s theatre (Prof. M. Pizza e P. Quarenghi)
