The Italian language and culture courses last three weeks (from July 1 to 21, 2008) and will be divided into the following four areas:
1. History and Culture
Lectures, audiovisuals and debates are multi-disciplinary and cover literary, theatre, and film history, art and architecture, and contemporary Italian language and culture.
2. Archaeology and Art History
For the first two weeks, classes will be in common with the Cultural History group. Over the third week, lectures, audiovisuals and debates will mainly focus on archaeology and art history.
3. Literature and Music
For the first two weeks, classes will be in common with the Cultural History group. Over the third week, lectures, audiovisuals and debates will mainly focus on literature and music.
4. Film and Theatre
For the first two weeks, classes will be in common with the Cultural History group. Over the third week, lectures, audiovisuals and debates will mainly focus on film and theatre.
The main activities for each area will be:
language classes;
lectures;
audiovisuals;
debates;
guided tours.
A minimum of 20 participants is required for courses in each area to be activated.
