EuroSapienza hosts the
EADI Directors' Meeting 2013

Berlin Declaration
The Council of SPES Development Studies,
following the proposal of EADI, the European Association of Development
Research and Training Institutes, has formally subscribed (25 November 2010) the
Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities.

MoU between Sapienza University of Rome and the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity
The Senato Accademico of SAPIENZA University of Rome has empowered the Rettore
to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between SAPIENZA and
the “Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity” (Montreal)
for implementing, disseminating and mainstreaming the objectives,
policy agenda and programme of work of the Convention.
http://www.cbd.int/convention/convention.shtml According to the MoU, SAPIENZA University of Rome and CBD Secretariat designate SPES - Development Studies Research Centre at Sapienza - as “Sapienza University Focal Point and Coordinator”
for advancing the objectives of the Memorandum and mutually agreed
activities, and for facilitating the exchange of information on all
issues of relevance of the MoU.
As a follow up of the MOU, The International University Network on Cultural and Biological Diversity has been launched.
