Students will be advised regarding their Course Work and their Thesis Research by tutors. Each doctoral candidate will have a tutor at the home university, who assists him/her in outlining the initial Study Plan, and additional tutors at the host universities. These tutors should possibly represent the different subject areas of the European Ph. D. This advisory group will monitor the student's performance, will annually review his/her progress and will make recommendations to the Scientifc Board concerning significant changes in the Study Plan or research programme.
