The Doctoral School in Architectural Sciences groups five PhD programs within "Sapienza" University of Rome. The PhD programs are:

  • Architecture and Construction - Space and Society, active in the Architectural Design Department since 2004;
  • Energy Saving and Distributed Microgeneration, in the Citera Research Center since 2006;
  • Architecture - Theory and Design | Curriculum in Interior Design, in the Architectural Design Department since 1986.
  • Landscape and Environment Design Management and Planning, in the Architectural Design Department since 2009.

About "Sapienza"

 

The Faculty of Architecture of the University of Rome, the first to be founded in Italy in 1920, has inherited the tradition of the Higher School of Architecture, based on the unification of the teaching of building, restoration, and urban planning. It has a diverse and rich faculty, with relevant personalities in several scientific fields.
