The Doctoral School in Architectural Sciences groups five PhD programs within "Sapienza" University of Rome. The PhD programs are:
- Architecture and Construction - Space and Society, active in the Architectural Design Department since 2004;
- Energy Saving and Distributed Microgeneration, in the Citera Research Center since 2006;
- Architecture - Theory and Design | Curriculum in Interior Design, in the Architectural Design Department since 1986.
- Landscape and Environment Design Management and Planning, in the Architectural Design Department since 2009.
