Attività di ricerca: medico chirurgo, Presidente del Consiglio di Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Medicina e Chirurgia della Seconda Facoltà di Medicina e Chirurgia, Sapienza Università di Roma. Gli ambiti di Ricerca principali riguardano la Biologia della riproduzione umana e di mammifero e la “medical education”. E’ autore di 114 articoli su riviste internazionali con impact factor; è co-autore del libro internazionale “Ultrastructure of the Ovary”, Kluver – New York, e di 136 lavori presentati a Congressi e Simposi nazionali e internazionali. E’ autore del libro di testo “ Anatomia dell’Uomo”, EDI Ermes, Milano. Membro di numerose Società Scientifiche nazionali ed internazionali, tra cui si segnalano l’ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embriology) e l’AMEE (Association for Medical Education in Europe).
