Dopo una breve collaborazione universitaria in ambito Urbanistico con il prof. Alberto Gatti, frequenta
il dottorato di Ricerca, VII Ciclo, presso il Dipartimento di Rappresentazione
e Rilievo (oggi Storia, Disegno e Restauro dell'Architettura) di Roma, conseguendo il titolo nel 1995.
Dal 1996 al 2005 ha ininterrottamente tenuto corsi a contratto di Disegno,
Rilievo e Applicazioni di geometria Descrittiva sia presso la Facoltà
di Architettura che presso la Facoltà di Ingegneria. In particolare
ha svolto una costante attività didattica nel nuovo Diploma Universitario
in Edilizia, istituito nel 1995 presso la sede distaccata di Rieti,
confluito poi nel 2001 nel Corso di Laurea in Ingegneria Edile triennale,
a cui è seguita, nel 2004, anche l’attivazione del Corso di Laurea
Specialistica in Ingegneria delle Costruzioni edili.
In qualità di professore associato (dal 2006), ricopre il
suo incarico didattico sempre a Rieti; attualmente con un corso di Geometria Descrittiva e Disegno dell'Architettura (9 cfu) al primo anno del Corso di Laurea in Ingegneria per l’edilizia
e il territorio e con un corso di Disegno e Modellazione Informatica (6
cfu) al primo anno della Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria delle costruzioni
edili e dei sistemi ambientali. Nell'anno 2011 ricopre anche l'insegnamento del Laboratorio di Design 2 (6 cfu) nel corso di Laurea in Disegno Industriale della Facoltà di Architettura.
E' membro del CRITEVAT, centro di ricerca interdipartimentale con sede a Rieti.
Svolge attività di ricerca e di partecipazioni a convegni, seminari
e incontri dell’area disciplinare sviluppando particolari interessi
per le tecniche e le metodologie avanzate nel campo del rilievo e in
quello della rappresentazione.
I principali campi di ricerca, i cui esiti sono documentati in diverse
pubblicazioni, sono quelli riguardanti la fotogrammetria, la geometria
descrittiva, il rilievo del verde e il disegno informatico. |
After a short university collaboration (in teaching and research) in Town planning with prof. Alberto Gatti he attends the Ph.D. in Representation And Survey Science (1991-1995) at the Department of Drawing and Survey (now Department of History, Drawing, and Restoration of Architecture) in Rome, earning the title in 1995, with a Thesis on “Fotogrammetrica teorica” (Theorical Image-based survey).
From 1996 to 2005 he taught, as Contract Professor, the courses of Design, Architectural Survey and Applications of Descriptive Geometry at the Architecture Faculty and at the Engineering Faculty of the Sapienza University of Rome.
Particulary he given a constant contribute to the teaching of drawing and survey at the courses of degree of the Engineering Faculty of Sapienza in Rieti.
From 2006 he’s Associate Professor of the Sapienza University in Rome; as professor he taugth in Rieti the discipline Building Design at the first year of the degree course in Engineering Building and Land Construction and the discipline in Design and Computer Modeling at the first year of the advanced degree course of Engineering Building Construction and Environmental Systems Engineering.
He’s member of Department of History, Drawing, and Restoration of Architecture, of CRITEVAT – Center of research for the valorization and the preservation of the environment and the territory – Rieti and of the professor board of the Ph. Doctorate in Representation And Survey Science.
He is the responsible of the laboratory of architectural survey in Rieti.
Morover he conducts researches and participation in conferences, seminars and meetings of the special interests to regulate developing techniques and methodologies in the field of survey and that of representation.
The main areas of research, whose results are documented in various publications, are those related to scanner laser 3D, photogrammetry, descriptive geometry, green design and computer modeling. |
