S.Ivo_cherubino  We are waiting the patronise of: La Sapienza University was founded by Pope Boniface VIII in 1303 as Studium Urbis. With its current 145,000 students, it is the largest university in Europe.
 Many of the students attending the University come from abroad: there are more than 5,000 foreign students and incoming and outgoing Erasmus students are about 1,000 per year. List of the sponsors, 2012 Ed.
EigenvectorLogo  Eigenvector Research, Inc. offers the "best presentation" prize. The company was founded by Barry M. Wise and Neal B. Gallagher on 1995, their most famous product is PLS_Toolbox and thank to this chemometrics package the company is know by chemometricians.
 The prize consists in one full licence of this software package. SOLO+MIA (Stand-alone graphical chemometrics environment) is a stand-alone software which allows the user to perform PLS, PCA and many many other multivariate analyses in a point-and-click environment. Also Umetrics offer the prize to be exctracted amog all Course and Meeting participants, the book (2x) of L. Eriksson et al. on Design of Experiments. Umetri-AB was founded by a group from Dept. of Organic Chemistry at Umeå University, namely professors Svante Wold and Rolf Carlsson and their two graduate students Conny Wikström and Åsa Nilsson.

Sponsor or Exhibitor or Advertiser?

  For short in the next the word "sponsor" will be used also for exhibitors or advertiser when there are no differences.

  There are at least four methods to support the Meeting:

  1. sponsors support the meeting through money and cooperation (or technical sponsor)
  2. advertisers can put in the Meeting bag, poster, depliants or any other containing their logo/products
  3. exhibitors can present their goods and ask presenters for their evaluation
  4. funders can pay prizes/grants devoted to young scientist and to the best presentation

  We recommend the possible sponsors to choose one of the possible forms or perhaps all simultaneously. The first-came sponsor will obtain a 25% discount, the second one will obtain a 10% discount.

  The only main rule which is valid for everybody is that in no form a mingling can be accepted between scientific presentation and advertising in any form.

For the same rule, scientific contributions (as already written in the various rules) cannot contain references revealing brands, tools, suppliers, excluding in the "materials and methods" section. For the 2012 edition we ask for a Cover Letter signed by the first Authors of any presentation (similar to the policy of the New England Journal of Medicine for Financial Associations of Authors)*. Opportunities for Sponsors, Exhibitors, Advertisers

  Introduce the proper logo and their products in an international meeting is a chance to be not missed.

  Through the participation to an international meeting you can find news, not yet solved problems, instrumentation prototypes, lack of knowledge, etc..

  The cooperation with experts in the sector can be used to improve the quality of the company products. Young scientists attending the meeting can be your valid future workers.

  If needed, the sponsors can obtain the room reservation at the Hotel at the same price of the Meeting attendancers (depending on the rooms availability at the booking time, see the related section).

To become a sponsor of the Meeting

  In our opinion the Sponsor is a partner, "a friend" of the Meeting working to obtain Meeting success.

  Of course sponsor must, by any action, contribute to the dissemination of the notices about the Meeting; link the meeting page from the company home page (or first level sub page) as well in any other web page controlled by the company, promote by email the Meeting to a selection of their clients and suppliers.

  Normally sponsors are Organisation, Academy, Foundation, Company, Editors, or single interested to promote itself as Meeting friends. Also we are looking for "technical sponsors".

Sponsors will obtain by contribute (see prices below):

  1. expression of thanks at the opening and closing ceremony;
  2. company logo on the Meeting web site including link to the company home page;
  3. use of the meeting logo and name for its own advertising;
  4. one badge for one staff member or delegate, the badge have the same validity of a Young Scientist badge (or if you like, by an extra cost, the full registration). The second, third, staff member can obtain the registration as accompanying person (or if you like, by an extra cost, the full registration);
  5. insertion of leaflets, brochures, depliants, company description, instrument description in the Meeting bag;
  6. insertion of software, demo, slide show in digital media, small objects and goods in the Meeting bag;
  7. inclusion of one web page in the Meeting CD, in the opportune directory, with expression of thanks by the Organisation;
  8. the insertion of their logo in the Meeting's Proceeding Book (sponsors list);
  9. inclusions in the program sheet (sponsors list).

Sponsors will not obtain:

  1. the complete Email-address list of participants;
  2. any other reference in the Meeting's Proceeding Book;
  3. spaces for exhibition, demonstration, endless slide show near the Meeting place;
  4. advertising in the Meeting CD/book.

Sponsors must:

  1. contribute to the dissemination of the notices about the Meeting with link to the Meeting page from the company home page (or first level sub page) as well in any other web page controlled by the company;
  2. work to obtain the Meeting success;
  3. as Meeting friends, make early payment to permit the best organisation of the Meeting;
  4. follow the main rules, see below.

  Delegated or affiliated not necessarily have to participate at the Meeting.

Exhibitors

  The exhibitors will not be considered as sponsors or advertisers and therefore cannot claim the sponsors benefit over the exhibitor benefits.

  If you have a particular idea to make exhibition at CMA4CH 2010 meeting, please contact the Organising Committee.

Exhibitors will obtain, by contribute, (see prices below):

  1. a table with surface of about 2.0 x 1.0 meters and the wall on the rear of the table to show their products, make endless slide show, poster, distribute leaflets, brochures and gadgets. Space and position will be assigned by the Organising Committee according, but not under, the stated preference. The exhibition cost includes also illumination, two chairs, power supply outlet up to 1KW (additional equipment and services will be available for extra, Internet, phone, exceeding W, e.g.);
  2. for security reasons, space for demonstration of instruments needs a separate request and negotiation;
  3. opportunity to ask, by law, participants for business card, Email, address, filling forms, to send company information after the meeting;
  4. opportunity to show books, software, small instruments (switched off), sensors, test kits, journals but not sell them in the Meeting place;
  5. inclusions in the program sheet (exhibitors list);
  6. their name only on the opportune Meeting web page without link to the company home page;
  7. one badge for one staff member or delegate, the badge have the same validity of a Young Scientist badge (or if you like, by an extra cost, the full registration). The second, third, staff member can obtain the registration as accompanying person (or if you like, by an extra cost, the full registration);
  8. for security, a complex and accurate negotiation must be performed to exhibit instrument switched ON and/or in working condition.

Exhibitors will not obtain:

  1. the complete Email-address list of participants;
  2. opportunity to insert any type of advertising in the program sheet and in the proceeding book;
  3. permission to use any exhibition form outside the confines of the assigned space;
  4. link to the company's home page starting from any documents of the Meeting.

Exhibitors must:

  1. choice the time arrival but the exhibition place must be ready in the early morning of the 26 September 2010 and stay up until the middle afternoon of 29 September 2010;
  2. transport by themselves all the materials in their meeting space, during the Meeting transport of materials is allowed only if it not provoke trouble to participants;
  3. make insurance and any other "by law" subscriptions for any goods (if necessary);
  4. no containers or boxes can be stored in any Meeting areas (ask the Organisation for a secure place by a very small additional fee);
  5. follow the main rules, see below.

  Exhibitors hereby expressly waive and release any claims of cause of action against CMA4CH 2010 Meeting that may arise from loss or damage of any of their property or property of their employees, agents, guest and the general public.

  Exhibitor will indemnify and hold harmless CMA4CH 2010 Meeting, and its respective trustees, officers, and employees against any claims, suits, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of property damage or personal injury to third parties caused by the negligence or wilful misconduct of Exhibitor or any individual or entity for which Exhibitor may be responsible.

Advertisers

  The advertiser will not be considered as sponsor or exhibitors and therefore cannot claim the sponsors benefit over their benefits.

  Advertising is promotion of brand, logo, instrument, service, work, by a single of by a company.

Advertisers will obtain, by contribute, (see prices below):

  1. opportunity to furnish gadgets to participants: phone cords, writing pads, mouse pad, pens and pencil, T-shirt, tie or foulard with logo, USB memory stick ....; supplied by advertiser at least 2 week before the Meeting starting;
  2. company's logo on the internal side of the meeting bag, or company logo on the rear of nominative badge, together with other logos, ;
  3. advertising in the Proceeding Book (B5 half page, supplied by the company in graphic format);
  4. advertising by a simple Html page in the Meeting CD (supplied by the company) in the opportune directory;
  5. advertising in the program sheet (in a small graphic form) following the requests but avoiding to obtain a "yellow page";
  6. opportunity to put in the Meeting bag, poster, leaflet, depliants or any other containing their logo and/or product's description;
  7. the name only on the opportune Meeting web page without link to the company home page;

Advertisers must:

  1. contribute to the dissemination of the notices about the Meeting with appropriate procedures;
  2. follow the main rules, see below.

Advertisers will not obtain:

  1. the complete Email-address list of participants;
  2. spaces for exhibition, demonstration, endless slide show near the Meeting place;
  3. any free meeting registration form for delegated person;

  Delegated or affiliated not necessarily have to participate at the Meeting.

Support for prizes and grants

  Company, Organisation, Academy, Foundation, Editors and single can support money prizes. See under the already present. Please ask the Organising Committee for payment and conditions. During the Meeting the prizes and relative supporters will be listed on a poster in alphabetic order.

  The name/brand of supporters for prizes will be show in: Meeting web site, starting from this link, proceeding book, B1 poster at prizes party; with congratulation of Committees. Also the supporter can insert a few leaflets on the meeting bag.

  Grants covering the costs for the Meeting participation (registration fee and/or stay) of young scientists and researchers coming from development country are welcome. Other prizes/grants can be proposed. The prizes list is here.

We established prizes and need support for:

  1. best overall presentation in any section;
  2. 3 best presentation in by young researcher;
  3. 1 prize by extraction among all participants.
  4. 1 prize by extraction among all students of The Course.

  For us, young researchers means up to 30 years old, she/he must be the first author in the proposed paper and must furnish a basic contribute to the work subtended to presentation.

Main rules and prices for sponsors/exhib./advert.

  The sponsorship is concluded under the Italian law. The sponsor must be under law of originated country and Italian country, particularly for copyright, patent, religious opinions, war apologia, e.g..

  All sponsor will be treated on a "first come, first served" policy.

  The full payment must be honoured up to 05 April 2012, after this date any reference at the sponsor will be deleted and a loss refund could be requested.

  Sponsors-exhibitors can not sold anything in the meeting area, but can receive order from participants and complete the contract after the Meeting end.

  If the sponsor-exhibitor is a selling company a concrete reduction of the price on the full company catalogue (almost 5% or over) must be offered to all participants within 30 days after the Meeting.
