  To be classified as "young" a participant/student/researcher had to be born after after 1st June 1982 (a valid certification is obligatory). Please do not ask for exceptions.

  YES, the youngs are our future. They have ideas, more time to invest, passion and often a new vision to solve several problems. In many countries the researchers/professors are selected among new graduate or new PhD. There are universities with professor (appointed or contract) aged 30s or 35s. In Italy we can aspire to a tenure before the retirement or never!

  From the first edition, 2006, we encourage the young's participation through a discount on registration, finding a low price accommodation, prize for best presentation.

  In our opinion students and new university graduates must take part not only in the poster and listening sessions but also in the social dinner and in the moments of socialisation. So we organise the Meeting to permits the presence in these moments.

  All participants, including contributed speakers, poster presenter, session chairs, co-chairs, invited speakers, auditors and Scientific Committee members must pay a registration fee.

  We have established a restrict price of 150 Euro for young participation. At the moment the expenses are supported by us without the support of a sponsor, so we can't guarantee this price for a large number of students. Our support is a FIFO.

  We are looking for "sponsors" to cut away the registration fee for young scientists, if authors.

  We are asking Organisation, Company, Government agency, and other supporter to a financial support to remove/reduce the registration fee for some youngs, please write us with your request. If obtained we use the FIFO method.

  From 2006 edition we established 3 prizes reserved for young in the three main fields of the Meeting. Company, Organisation, Academy, Foundation, Editors and single can support money prizes. During the Meeting the prizes and relative supporters will be listed on a poster in alphabetic order.

We established young prizes and need support for:

1. best presentation in Environment section by young researcher;
2. best presentation in Chemometry section by young researcher;
3. best presentation in Cultural Heritage section by young researcher.

  This is not the place to present the values of the prizes. But you can find them on this page

  To participate at prizes selection the young, he/she MUST be the first author of the proposed paper and had furnished a fundamental contribute to the work that subtend his/her presentation.

  To each winner we will give a diploma presenting the title of the work, useful to add to young's curriculum (that is why the young have to be the first author). The awarding of prizes is foreseen on Tuesday afternoon, just after the posters discussion.

  As in previous edition we are looking for, and trying to find, some different way to stay in Rome. We find a Christian Hostels, near the University with low price rooms and so on.

  If you come from a least developments countries you can access to this and other support. We serve the request with the FIFO method.
