Key words: Experimental Morphology, Immunology, Neurotransmission, Cardiovascular and Respiratory System. Carlo Cavallotti - Full Professor of Human Anatomy University of Rome "La Sapienza", since 1980, List of Ministry BIO/16. Director of the Department of Neurological Sciences and after, of the Department of Cardiovascular and Respiratory Sciences until 1994. Author of more than one hundred publications in reviews with Editorial Board and with Impact Factor. The personal, total I.F. is more than one hundred. The topics of the studies are: 1. Neurotransmitters in human vascular bed; 2. Functional morphology of cardiovascular and respiratory organs; 3. Dopamine receptors in some organs; 4. Nerve fibres in lymphatic organs and vessels; 5. Angio-megaly : morphological characteristics; 6. Lymphatic vessels; 7. Morphological and immunohistochemical studies on the wall of arterial and venous vessels. In the last years he received, every year, grants for researches from Faculty of Medicine, from University and prestigious national and/or international research Institutions. In the year 2003, with the financial support of the University, he organized an international meeting on " Dopamine: neural control of arterial and venous vessels".
